Anthony "Tony" Cantin is the head of the finance and accounting team at Cantin Consulting, where he leverages his Honors degree from Michigan State University, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting.
As a results-driven operations and financial executive with over 25 years of progressive leadership in manufacturing and business operations management, Tony has a proven track record of collaborating with management teams to drive profitability, streamline operations, and implement cost-saving initiatives while building high-performance teams. He is experienced in providing ERP integration services with multi-site oversight, strategic planning, and cross-functional leadership across finance, sales, HR, and production. Additionally, Tony is skilled in navigating complex financial reporting structures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and facilitating operational transformations in both privately held and global corporate environments. Upon completion of any consult, Cantin Consulting ensures that training is provided to maintain these implemented optimizations by your current management teams, enhancing your financial consulting services.
Tony also has 14 years of combined service with the U.S. Army and the Michigan Army National Guard. He served in Korea, the Aleutian Islands, and Fort Lewis, Washington, as part of the 1st Battalion, 4th Air Defense Artillery Regiment. During his service, he received several medals, including the Army Achievement Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, National Defense Service Medal, three Army Reserve Component Achievement Medals, as well as the Army Good Conduct Medal.
